Enrollment
St. Basil Preschool is a nonprofit outreach ministry of St. Basil Greek Orthodox Church serving children of all faiths two through five years of age. A developmental program has been designed to meet the needs of the whole child. Active "hands on" learning opportunities which promote social, emotional, cognitive, physical, and spiritual growth fill each day.
St. Basil Preschool offers full and half day sessions, Monday through Friday, in addition to a fine five day a week pre~kindergarten 5 year old program. Schedules are designed to accommodate working parents as well as "at home" parents in search of a part time enrichment program.
St. Basil Preschool operates year-round, 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM with the exception of legal and seasonal holidays. Half day session begins at 9 AM and ends at 12 PM.
The accredited teaching staff of qualified Early Childhood Professionals, well exceeds the State of California Educational and Experience Requirements for preschool instructors. In addition, the teacher to child ratio at St. Basil Preschool is continually lower than the State of California minimum requirement of 1:12.
How to enroll
St. Basil has an Open House every spring. This is an opportunity for you to schedule an appointment, meet with our Director and visit our classrooms. You will be given an application (including new tuition rates) to complete and return on your scheduled registration day.
Open House is slated for the week of March 8, 2010.
An appointment is a “must”. You may phone the office (209-478-5252) starting in January 2010 to schedule your appointment!

Fees and Tuition
An annual registration fee of $100.00 per child is due upon Enrollment / Re enrollment. Families registering after March 1, 2010, will pay a prorated registration fee of $50.00.

Please note: Our waiting list is for the CURRENT SCHOOL YEAR only. It is the parent’s responsibility to contact the school if any information needs to be updated.
